As someone who has a genetic hearing loss disorder and tinnitus, I started HearingLossResearch.com for two reasons. First, this is a way to learn more about my hearing problems and find out about new and exciting treatment options. Second, maybe I can help others who have similar hearing problems learn more about their disease and what treatment options are available for them as well.

I've decided to cover tinnitus first because, for me, it's the most irritating hearing problem I deal with. And, the most elusive to treat.  As they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
