A Healthy Body Can Minimize Your Tinnitus
Sometimes my
tinnitus noises can keep me from falling asleep at night, but mostly
they're just irritating background noise – and not a quality of life
threat. I would say that my tinnitus has caused some hearing loss, but
the reality is that my hearing loss has caused my tinnitus.
A mild to moderate annoyance to most tinnitus sufferers (like me),
there are some whose noises are so grotesquely loud and disturbing that
normal life and its everyday joys are not possible. .
Restful sleep does not come easily to these people.
A peaceful and quiet Sunday afternoon in the porch swing is
stolen by the whooshing, ringing and chirping noises that
take the place of possible tranquility.
Unfortunately, except for several outright medical conditions that can
cause
tinnitus, most people's cause of tinnitus cannot be identified. Very
few options exist for the direct medical treatment of
tinnitus.
But, there is a growing population who have found some relief for their
tinnitus by adhering to a simple idea - that by keeping the body
healthy, the tinnitus can be minimized. I've listed a few ideas that
may help you.
None of the above can be thought of as a cure for tinnitus.
Rather, think of them as an integral part of a plan to strengthen your
body, leaving no room for an irritant like tinnitus.
